Worshipping God is central to everything we do at Community Church.  We meet Sundays to reset our hearts and renew our minds for a week-filled with worship.

Connecting to Christ and His Spirit-filled community provides a place to belong and engage in the life of the local church.  You start as a visitor, but quickly become family.

Growing in Christ through consistent worship, prayer, Bible reading/studies, and sermons, cultivates our spiritual life, both personally and together as a spiritual family.

Serving puts our faith into action, as we share Christ's love outside our walls in tangible ways that support our community.

Reaching demonstrates our commitment to share the good news of Jesus with others, locally and globally, to further the God's Kingdom.

Ministries provide opportunities to meet specific needs and engage our spiritual family to fulfill the five purposes of the Church.

Diane Robison and Linda Weiss put their creative ability to work by designing this beautiful quilt. They incorporated the Alpha and Omega Symbols with the chapel and current sanctuary. The unique steeple is depicted, as well as four cornerstone Bible verses. The border is made of crosses, the ultimate symbol of God’s immense love, mercy, and justice.

The quilt is prominently displayed in the front vestibule of Community Church for all to see.  Please make a point to stop by, read the verses on the quilt, and notice the handiwork of these two gifted members of our congregation.  Thanks for sharing, Diane and Linda!

Crisis & Christ: A Series on 2nd Corinthians:  Life brings seasons of suffering, pressure, weakness, and uncertainty—but in every storm, Christ is near. In 2 Corinthians, the Apostle Paul writes with raw honesty about the crises he faced—both internal and external—and how Jesus met him in the depths with strength, comfort, and grace. This series explores how the presence of Christ doesn’t remove our troubles but transforms them. Like the hand of a Savior reaching into the deep, Jesus rescues, sustains, and redeems even our darkest moments. Whether you’re overwhelmed, broken, or just barely holding on, 2 Corinthians reminds us: we are never alone in our crisis—Christ is with us, and His grace is enough.   New Series begins on Sunday, June 21st at 10am.

Invite someone to church, and let’s all grow together in the Lord!

At Community Church, we are all about connecting.  There are many opportunities to connect with your church family.

• Here are a few to consider:
  • Our Prayer Time is held each Sunday at 8:30am in the Fellowship Hall
  • Our Refreshment Table is loaded with goodies and coffee every Sunday, and folks gather at 9:35am.
  • Our Weekly Worship Celebration - the family that worships together stays together, and each Sunday is another opportunity to start the week off with worship, starting at 10am.
  • Our Membership Seminars, offered throughout the year, give you an overview of our church.
  • Our Fellowship Meals are a great time to meet and fellowship with others.
  • Our Small Groups: Community Church Women (CCW), Learning through Loss grief support group, and the Pathways Men’s Ministry are great options to connect as well.
  • Serving together is a great way to connect. See the "SERVE" Section below for more opportunities to connect in serving.

On Sunday, March 1st, we installed two new board members, Mrs. Diane Roberson and Mr. Robbie Rogers.  We want to thank those who serve our community as part of our church board and take care of the business needs of our church.  Although much of their work is behind the scenes, their service ensures our Church and its mission are supported and sustained.  Special thanks to Ms. Fran Eckert and Mrs. Gayle Lockwood for their years of faithful service to our church (on the board and beyond).

We are thankful to have a church family with so many dedicated servants who faithfully serve others in many ways.  These are just a few areas you might prayerfully consider using your gifts in service to bless others:

• Church Board
• Church Finance Team
• Worship & Media Ministry Team
• Ushers & Hospitality Team
• The Local (Community Church Youth Ministry)
• Community Light Family Ministry Team
• Preschool Prayer Pals Ministry
• Special Events (Fall Festival, VBS, etc.)
• Ukulele Ministry
• Prayer Team
• Congregational Care Ministry
• VANgels Ministry
• Community Church Women’s Ministry (CCW)
• Pathways Men’s Ministry
• Small Group Leaders (Bible Studies, Discipleship)
• Learning through Loss Grief Support Ministry
• Fellowship Lunch Team Members

In February, we hosted several events, including Prayer Pals Chapel, Valentine's Day Fundraiser, and an Anchored Home Parent Night event (-->), where comedian Scott Davis came to share some practical tips for parents to establish some spiritual anchors in their families.  You can read more about our preschool and family ministry by clicking the buttons (below):

The Community Church Women (CCW) ministry exists to bring women together in faith, friendship, and service. We meet throughout the year for fellowship gatherings, service projects, and fundraisers that bless our church and community. We also attend conferences and special events to grow spiritually and deepen our relationships as a loving family of believers. Whether serving, learning, or simply spending time together, CCW is a place where women can connect, grow, and make a difference.
