Ash Wednesday Services – will be held in the main sanctuary on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at noon and at 6PM, and will include the imposition of ashes and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. Please take advantage of this opportunity to begin the season of Lent.

We will leave the church at 4:00 pm and stop for dinner somewhere along the way. Cost for the event is $10. You will be responsible for your own dinner and we’ll pass the hat for gas.
Brown Bag Bible Basics – Join us for an introductory study of God’s Word, beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 29th at 11:45 at the church. Bring your lunch and be ready to learn things like, “Who wrote the Bible?”, “How did we get the Bible in its current form?”, and “Why are there so many different Bibles?” and so much more!
Ongoing Announcements:
UpTown Kidz! has begun a new segment on the life of Paul entitled “Shipwrecked”. UpTown meets at 9am on Sunday mornings concurrent with the contemporary worship service.

Stephen Ministry Training: Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast is offering Stephen Ministry training on Fridays, beginning January 13th from 9:00 am—12:00 noon. Classes will run through May 11th. Stephen Ministers will serve at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast and/or to local congregations. TWEENERS is our new ministry to older elementary aged children (ages 10-12). We meet at the church at 4:30 on Sunday afternoons. Fun outings, Bible Study, recreation, fun and fellowship. Call Pastor Pete if you have questions. Please spread the word!

Grief Support Group at Sacred Heart Hospital on the Emerald Coast is hosting a 6 week series entitled “Healing in Grief and Loss”. This class began on Thursday, Sept. 15th and meets from noon until 1:30pm in the chapel at the hospital.
